Cleaning and Maintenance

With proper cleaning and maintenance you should expect many years of beautiful service from your new shower enclosure.

• Allow 24 hours for the silicone to dry before cleaning or using the new enclosure.

• We recommend applying INVISIBLE SHIELD renewable surface protectant to new glass, and reapplying every several months as needed.

• Use a CLERET Shower Squeegee to remove excess water and soap after each shower. Allowing hard water to remain on the door could damage the glass or metal hardware over time.

• In looking for the best cleaner that's also gentle on surfaces, BEMA (The Bath Enclosure Manufacturers Association) tested some of the most popular cleaners and found COMET NON-ABRASIVE BATHROOM CLEANER to be the most effective while still being gentle on the glass and metal surfaces of an enclosure. We also recommend SOFT SCRUB WITH LEMON used with a SCOTCH BRITE (Blue) NON-ABRASIVE SCRUB PAD to remove tough stains without scratching.

• Do not use cleaners that could scratch the glass or damage metal finishes. Cleaners you should NOT use include:

     • Vinegar or vinegar-based cleaners
     • Abrasive powders
     • Steel wool or teflon pads
     • Ammonia based cleaners
