The use of colored glass as a building material has leaped to the forefront of
the contemporary interior design world.
Our large selection of
colored and back painted glass creates stunning
backsplashes, glass walls, spandrel, and even counter
tops. We carry a variety of stock colors from the
Dreamwalls Color Glass line by Gardner Glass Products,
but can easily match any swatch or paint sample you
provide. A proprietary, state-of-the-art paint
technology is used to manufacture and fabricate our back
painted glass using a durable heat-cured, two coat
system, so cracking or peeling is never a concern. Size
capabilities ranging from 4" x 4" to 96" x 144" are
possible, with reproducible color consistency from
the first piece to the last piece.
For glass
kitchen backsplashes we use solid sheets of bonded, back
painted low iron glass, custom made for each project
so they're a perfect fit. Particularly in modern
kitchens, painted glass offers a sleek backdrop to
counters, cabinets and appliances, working especially
well in contrast to stainless steel and granite. And
because glass is not porous, it does not absorb any
moisture. Mold, mildew and stains cannot infiltrate
glass like they can conventional tile or stone. In terms
of beauty, maintenance, and value for the money,
glass is an excellent choice for backsplashes. Please

Our customers are raving!
See what Mary from Decatur Georgia says:
"Think much more than shower doors and bathrooms when
you think of Drexler. Think kitchen. Think glass
backsplash. Think gorgeous while understated. I started
out with a different back splash in mind and called
David when I learned it was no longer available. He
suggested a painted glass backsplash and I knew without
seeing a completed installation (show rooms and friends
with glass back splashes are hard to find), that glass
was the right look for this kitchen that has a lively
granite. David was a dream to work with from start to
finish and measured so accurately that the installation
was perfect and without problems. The process included
measurement, color selection, color test and then
installation. The glass completed the kitchen and gave
it a sleek, but lovely look. So thanks to David and
Drexler Shower Door for completing my kitchen look for
me." - Mary Lerchen, Decatur, GA
